super duper late graduation + year recap post!!
some highlights/ramblings~
• Finishing Croaked!!!! Wowwwweeee that was quite the challenge 🥴 Filled with too many sleepless nights but, despite everything, we pulled through and i’m so so proud of our film!! Much love to The Avengers who were chained at monty every night w/me, huge thank you to Professor Kuehn, + shoutout to the best sister film everrr: Ancient Magic,, we both accidentally made the same movie (elderly alcoholic, now a parental figure, weird iconic villain, 4:3 ratios… the puzzle pieces are there). Unbelievably surreal to see both our movies on the big screen.
• I don’t even have the final count for how many times John and I made our team watch Trap, Madame Web, and Harold and the Purple Crayon but in our sleep deprived state, we invented a “language” comprised solely of quotes from those three movies. Lots to unpack. 🖍️🕸️🔪 I apologize to our team for having to endure this,, I still have not finished Arcane.
• Safe haven restaurants: Spread Bagels, Applebees, Chilis, Wawa, Fancy Parkers, & Dave and Busters(?).
• Game Nights!! My weekly-ish treat. Helped me come out of my shell a lot and I wish I met you all sooner. I think my favorite was the slideshow presentation night.
• Movie/TV nights!! Severance with Charlie, Godzilla with Nick, Slaughterhouse Rulez with Reese and Al, The Rehearsal with john, Wish with Crissa, Space Chimps with Jonathan and Farzeen, The Ant Bully with Davi and Soleil, Surf’s Up with Marley… etc etc… I love cinema.
• Discovering the green screen room!! IDK how I didn’t know about this before but Dax and I filmed some of our best work in there.
• The Heist!! Unfortunately the full footage couldn’t fit into the 30 second IG slot but this was the last “real” time I went to monty and spending the night just chatting with my friends and filming it on an old camcorder is one of my fondest memories of the place. :]
Unfortunately hit the word limit here but I 🤍 and miss all of you very much! 🐸🪿🐦⬛🐥
